Large Chinese Export Camphorwood Leather Trunk with Nail Head Design

Large Chinese Export camphorwood trunk covered in leather with brass nail head design and other brass.  A few brass nails and one brass corner are replacements.  All other brass is original.  These trunks were often made for ship captains and brought back from voyages to the Far East.  Circa 1850 - 1870.
