This Credenza is an interesting example of Italian mid-century design. Unusual mix of traditional chinoiserie decoration with Italian mid-century lines. Umberto Mascagni used materials that were provocative for the time, such as skai (PVC) and aluminum. This piece features padded skai (faux leather) trimmed with anodized aluminum. The doors are mirrored inside and the interior of the cabinet is lined in skai. Will be a beautiful focal point in all decors. Hand painted detail.
