19th century William IV period mahogany campaign box or small chest with brass mounts. An unusual size for this type of chest, quite handsome, and large enough to store a fair amount valuables or even paperwork. Stands on its as decorative item, a welcome addition to am interior. The warm patina of age is highlighted by the soft glow of the brass mounts and corner brackets. Circa 1840.

13.5" h x 8.25" w x 10.25" d

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. One handle is missing a small brass decorative collar, see photos. Otherwise in very good antique condition.
