Neolithic Carved Stone Disc Mounted on a Steel Base 2-3000 BC

Neolithic hand carved stone disc with a hole in the center mounted on a modern steel base. This evocative ancient piece has a real presence that belies it's size. Wonderful color with nice contrasting striation. This piece was acquired by the previous owner in Namibia circa 1960's.
